• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns and create customized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, based on clients' needs.
• Collaborate with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals and continuously monitor their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Provide teletherapy options to clients who may prefer virtual sessions or face obstacles accessing traditional in-office visits, ensuring inclusivity.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical and regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as training workshops and peer consultations, to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on the latest therapeutic practices.

As a Mental Health Counselor at the Norton Mental Health and Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, offering support to individuals dealing with various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Our focus is on building therapeutic relationships that promote healing and resilience, creating a supportive environment for every client.

• A current and valid license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in disciplines such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to support clients in navigating their unique challenges.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to maintain a balanced caseload and fulfill administrative responsibilities effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services in an outpatient or private practice setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping.
• Ongoing engagement in continued education and professional development activities.

• Attractive salary range between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, based on experience and client caseload.
