IMEG is hiring a Revit API Software Engineer -Remote- to build new engineering automation applications and modify existing applications in our internal library. This role requires strong Autodesk Revit API knowledge, strong core fundamentals in C#, and a fundamental understanding of object orientated programming.

You will work directly with product owners and other engineers on a range of development projects, contributing to internal tools that support engineering workflows across the firm. This role also supports ongoing code maintenance, testing, documentation, and technical performance monitoring.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the Development Manager with software design and coding activities.
  • Build new engineering automation applications and modify existing applications in the RAPIL codebase.
  • Write, maintain, and improve code across internal software tools and applications.
  • Partner directly with product owners and other engineers on development projects.
  • Attend and contribute to company development meetings.
  • Learn the codebase and consistently improve coding skills.
  • Address minor bug fixes and respond to requests from the development team.
  • Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.
  • Gather information from users about program functionality and support documentation efforts.
  • Conduct development tests and write unit tests.

What You'll Bring Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing against Autodesk Revit API
  • Proficiency in WPF Framework
  • Knowledge of databases and operating systems
  • Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, and JavaScript;
  • Basic programming
  • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays

  • Proficiency in Jira & Git a plus
  • Proficiency in Blazor a plus

Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000 per year

The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location.

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
