As a Senior Experience Designer at Code and Theory, you are crucial to evolving how users interact with digital platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to redefine user experience design, merging user insights with cutting-edge technology to drive strategic vision
  • Champion the integration of AI and generative tools in design processes, setting standards for creativity, efficiency, and strategic platform enhancement
  • Push beyond standard deliverables to pioneer innovative ideas that challenge existing paradigms and elevate overall design impact
  • Own the use of data and research findings to enhance user interactions, ensuring performance-driven design approaches across projects
  • Maintain an acute awareness of industry trends, using them to inform and elevate our design practices ahead of the curve
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, providing feedback, direction, and hands-on coaching to develop their skills
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and curiosity within the team through active collaboration, strategic engagement, and thought leadership
  • Partner with creative and account leads to shape design strategy and represent the design point of view in client-facing conversations

  • Manage workload and project timelines to keep design work prioritized, scoped appropriately, and delivered on schedule

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Extensive experience in UX design, with a track record of leading projects end-to-end and mentoring others
  • Ability to translate creativity into effective and user-centric design solutions that enhance platform performance
  • Demonstrated adaptability and curiosity toward emerging design technologies and data-driven methods
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools like Figma, with fluency in AI-enhanced workflows
  • Strong leadership and collaborative abilities, fostering a supportive and innovative creative environment
  • Deep understanding of atomic design principles, design systems, and how to scale them across products
  • Expertise working in Figma (components, variables, autolayout, etc.); proficiency with tools like AirTable, Confluence, Jira, and Principle are a bonus
  • Bachelor's degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 and spans multiple levels. We're open to hiring at the level that best matches the right candidate's experience.
