• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients using secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing tools.
• Assess clients’ mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities to address mental health challenges.
• Document each therapy session thoroughly and maintain accurate records in line with best practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management and share insights with colleagues.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on mental health best practices.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Carilion Therapeutic Clinic, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your clients may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions. Your role will play a vital part in helping them navigate their journeys toward recovery and improved emotional well-being.

• Master’s-level degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from a regionally accredited university.
• Active state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices.
• Strong writing skills for accurate and professional documentation of client sessions.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions from any licensing board.

• Additional certifications in specialized therapies or modalities are a plus.
• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with digital healthcare platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain client engagement.

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience.
