This role sits within a Complex Litigation group representing individuals in large-scale class action lawsuits against sophisticated corporate defendants, with a focus on consumer protection and privacy statute claims at the state and federal level.
  • Manage a caseload of state and federal class action matters involving consumer protection and unfair business practices claims
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive briefs including class certification and summary judgment
  • Manage written discovery โ€” drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Conduct depositions, participate in oral argument, and assist with expert witness development
  • Coordinate e-discovery processes including document review, organization, and production

Looking for:
  • California Bar admission
  • 3+ years plaintiff litigation experience with class action or complex litigation focus

Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
  • Consumer protection litigation / consumer fraud
  • Privacy statute (CCPA, CIPA)
  • Data breach litigation
  • Mass tort or complex civil litigation
  • Defective products litigation
  • Related statutory claims (state and federal)
