Job description

RemX Staffing is seeking a Remote Intake Paralegal.

This is a contract to hire opportunity that will be working fully remote.

Hours: M-F 9:00am-5:00pm CST (with occasional weekends/ overtime)

Compensation: $20.00/hour

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

  • Speak with the co-counsel attorneys handling client’s file to get an update on the claim and make sure it is progressing properly
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Works as the initial point of contact for the law firm
  • Work with prospective clients, current clients, and non-client callers
  • Play a vital role in the initial screening of prospective clients and providing on-going quality customer service to our existing clients
  • Assisting the department in handling all communications with clients after intake process
