• Conduct thorough assessments through telehealth sessions to evaluate clients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral health from initial consultation through the treatment process.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessed needs, leveraging therapeutic modalities that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and family systems therapy.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing technology tools to create engaging and interactive therapeutic experiences.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to enhance outcomes and address challenges encountered during the therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive support that aligns with patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment interventions and client progress within electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide guidance to family members and caregivers to support them in managing their loved ones’ mental health challenges effectively.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State is mandatory.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a telehealth or virtual setting.
• Experience with treating dual diagnoses, such as mental health and substance use disorders, is a plus.
• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and other relevant organizations.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects on treatment is advantageous.
