Job Summary:The Merchandising Data Quality & Process Governance Analyst executes the tactical roadmap for data integrity and process excellence. This role focuses on the end-to-end SKU and vendor lifecycle, ensuring that merchandising workflows are followed and that the data powering product and supplier relationships is business-ready to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Quality Management:Perform daily audits and root-cause analysis for data defects in SKU and vendor master data; lead remediation efforts to ensure data health.

  • Vendor ContentScorecarding:Own the development and distribution of vendor data health scorecards;monitorsupplier compliance with data standards and provide support for seamless integration.

  • Process Governance:Execute andmonitorend-to-end workflows for SKU onboarding and vendor setup;identifyfriction points in the product lifecycle and suggest process improvements.

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):Maintaindocumentation for merchandising data processes, ensuring all SKU maintenance and vendorsetupactivities align with established governance policies.

  • Merchandising Partnership:Act as a technical liaison for Merchandising teams to ensure data strategies and process workflows align with product lifecycle management.

  • KPI Reporting:Track and report on process health and data quality metrics (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Foundational understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM) principles, specifically in a retail or supply chain context.

  • Ability to translate complex data issues into actionable business insights and perform detailed root-cause analysis.

  • Experience in governing workflows to maximize data accuracy and minimize operational friction.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to drive compliance and organizational change across cross-functional departments.

Certifications, Experience, and Education:

  • Certifications:None

  • Experience:2-4 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Process Management; experiencein a retail or merchandising environment preferred.

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration; OR relevant work-related experience.

Location & Work Availability:

This position isHybrid (4days in office,1day remote),based at our corporate headquarters inRaleigh, North Carolina.
