The Opportunity:
As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge.
As a client-facing data analyst in our National Cyber Group, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on government technologies.
As a data analyst on our team, you'll perform analysis on relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format of the information provided. Manages the compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data. Participates in Ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations that build relevant insights for internal and external stakeholders. Collects data and runs basic reports in response to client inquiries. Works closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound knowledge of client requirements to support development of best-in-class analytical solutions. Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents and/or spreadsheets.

You Have:
  • Knowledge of advanced data wuerying such as SQL
  • Knowledge of BI and dashboard development such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of statistical scripting such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of data pipelines and warehousing, such as ETL/ELT
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Associate's degree and 8+ years of experience with IT, Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with IT, or 11+ years of experience with IT in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Cribl
  • Experience with data pipelines and data transformation
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
