This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. Our clinic works closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, promoting collaboration and a holistic approach to mental health treatment. You will have structured work hours from Monday to Friday, with no expectation for evening or weekend shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Inner Spark Counseling Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic and supportive group therapy sessions that encourage clients to share experiences, providing a platform for communal growth and healing.
• Individual Therapy: Offer personalized counseling, utilizing evidence-based techniques to assist clients in unpacking their emotions, identifying thought patterns, and developing effective coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that are tailored to their unique experiences and aspirations.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and regular feedback mechanisms to track client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our team of professionals, sharing insights and observations to ensure comprehensive care and the best outcomes for our clients.

You will primarily work with young adults facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and more. This demographic often struggles with transitions in life such as college, career changes, and personal relationships. Your role will be to empower these clients to develop resilience and coping mechanisms while providing support through their journeys.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
• Demonstrated experience working with mental health or mood disorders in residential or outpatient settings.
• A team-oriented mindset and a passion for promoting positive change in clients’ lives.
• Strong clinical skills in methodologies such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.
• Familiarity with therapeutic assessment tools and documentation systems used in mental health care.
• Background in working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural competence in mental health outreach.
