Their responsibilities may include drafting legal documents, managing schedules, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients. By working remotely, legal assistants can offer flexibility and often use digital tools to collaborate efficiently with legal teams. This role is increasingly popular due to advancements in technology and the growing acceptance of remote work in the legal industry.

What does a remote legal assistant do?

As a remote legal assistant, your job is to work from home to assist lawyers with their casework. In this role, you may help research previous cases, draft legal documents, help manage scheduling calendars, send letters and notices, and make travel reservations.
