Job description

Requirements:

Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds

Pulling and pushing up to 200 pounds

Frequent standing up and moving about the work area and bending, stooping, and kneeling

Frequently working in areas of high temperatures

Willing to work on weekends, and/or holidays.

General Responsibilities:

Clean and store linens in a timely and organized manner.

Demonstrate attention to detail and exhibit cooperation to work as a team.

Operates washer and dryer

Receives and/or collects soiled linens.

Specific Responsibilities:

Operate washer and dryer in the laundry room according to guidelines provided.

Receive or collect soiled linens and terry from the guest rooms, pool area, and fitness room. Including but

not limited to, trash disposal in all public areas.

Fold clean linens and store as appropriate. Operate linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen

ironer machines.

Sort and record discarded linen into categories. Report damages or loss of linen to supervisor.

Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste within laundry facility.

Follow the OSHA instructions for the safety of self and other employees.

Should be willing to perform Room Attendantโ€™s duties as well.

Report to supervisor of any guest needs or complain.

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other

departments.

May assist with other duties, help in other areas as required, and all other tasks as requested by MOD.
