Job description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school-based contract opportunity near Crown Point, IN. Step in this fall as a substitute for an SLP on FMLA, ensuring students receive consistent and high-quality speech services from August 10th through the end of October. This position offers the flexibility of onsite or VOCO (virtual/remote) service delivery, giving you more control over your work environment.

Work with a diverse and rewarding caseload of 117 students, supported by an assigned Speech-Language Assistant (SLA). You’ll collaborate with teams across two elementary school buildings, providing interventions, evaluations, and IEP-related services to help each child achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active IN state SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and report writing
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Comfort with technology for VOCO/remote roles, if interested

Key Responsibilities:
