Step in this fall as a substitute for an SLP on FMLA, ensuring students receive consistent and high-quality speech services from August 10th through the end of October. This position offers the flexibility of onsite or VOCO (virtual/remote) service delivery, giving you more control over your work environment.
Work with a diverse and rewarding caseload of 117 students, supported by an assigned Speech-Language Assistant (SLA). You’ll collaborate with teams across two elementary school buildings, providing interventions, evaluations, and IEP-related services to help each child achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active IN state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort with technology for VOCO/remote roles, if interested
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a group of elementary-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
