• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting mental health and substance use challenges, identifying co-occurring disorders through in-depth interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based interventions tailored to address their unique needs, including cognitive behavioral techniques and motivational interviewing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to equip clients with vital coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and tools for emotional regulation.
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated treatment approaches, including regular planning meetings and case discussions to align therapeutic goals.
• Monitor client progress through continuous assessments and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage actively in motivational interviewing to guide clients on their recovery journey while providing education and resources about the interaction between mental health and substance use.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any referrals or transitions in care, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance knowledge of co-occurring disorder treatments and incorporate new techniques into practice.

This role primarily focuses on individuals facing the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This diverse client base may include adults from various backgrounds, each with unique challenges that require tailored, empathetic treatment approaches. Your work will not only address their mental health needs but also facilitate access to additional resources, ensuring a comprehensive network of support.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-focused environment.

• A minimum of two years of experiencia in providing mental health counseling, particularly in an integrated care setting.
• Experience working with telehealth platforms, emphasizing familiarity with digital documentation and communication.
• Proven track record in utilizing Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
