Job description

Company Description
Job Description
Role Overview
LGC is seeking a proactive, agile, and commercially minded Growth Marketing Manager to develop and execute demand-generation programs for its Quality Management Tools (QMT) portfolio. Marketed through the SeraCare brand, the portfolio supports in vitro diagnostic manufacturers, clinical laboratories, proficiency testing providers, and other diagnostic partners with the tools needed to develop, validate, monitor, and improve assay performance.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that attract new customers, strengthen the LGC and SeraCare market presence, increase engagement with SeraCare.com, and expand existing relationships through cross-sell, upsell, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies. The role will support the SeraCare portfolio, including Seraseq clinical genomics reference materials, ACCURUN infectious disease controls, VALIDATE linearity and calibration verification kits, Multichem third-party quality controls, validation and qualification materials, and custom/OEM solutions.
With ownership of campaign strategy and execution across a broad range of customer segments, applications, and stakeholders, you will need to manage multiple priorities and shift focus quickly based on business needs and growth potential. A growth mindset, strong communication skills, scientific curiosity, and a solution-oriented approach are essential to thrive in this fast-paced and evolving role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, web, social media, and events to generate demand for LGC's SeraCare and QMT products and solutions.
  • Deliver full-funnel, multichannel programs that support new customer acquisition, strategic account growth, cross-sell, and upsell objectives, including automated nurture streams that move prospects efficiently through the funnel.
  • Own the marketing roadmap for QMT as a key digital channel for LGC, partnering with digital and commercial teams to improve product discovery, content journeys, search visibility, conversion paths, and the overall customer experience.
  • Translate complex scientific and quality-management concepts into clear, differentiated messaging for clinical laboratories, IVD assay developers and manufacturers, biopharma organizations, CROs, and proficiency testing providers.
  • Support high-impact product launches and portfolio initiatives with tailored go-to-market plans developed in close collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing Communications.
  • Develop campaigns across key applications, including clinical genomics and NGS, oncology, reproductive health, inherited disease, infectious disease, molecular diagnostics, serology, clinical chemistry, and other laboratory quality-control workflows.
  • Drive new business and expansion through ABM strategies tailored to priority accounts, customer segments, laboratory workflows, and unmet quality-management needs.
  • Develop and execute growth plans for the VALIDATE product family, which supports linearity, calibration verification, linear-range verification, and analyzer troubleshooting, and for the Multichem product family, a liquid-ready, third-party consolidated quality-control range supporting clinical chemistry, immunoassay, cardiac, infectious disease, and other laboratory testing disciplines.
  • Develop and implement organic social media strategies, including reusable LinkedIn content and guidance that enable the wider commercial team to communicate consistently and credibly.
  • Plan and organize tradeshows, webinars, and industry events, including preparation, promotions, collateral, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-up. Attend at least one to two events per calendar year.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to align campaign messaging, targeting, timing, lead follow-up, and success measures with commercial priorities.
  • Apply a test-and-learn mindset to campaign development, using experimentation and performance data to optimize audiences, messaging, offers, channels, and conversion paths.
  • Manage campaign-related lead imports and perform initial quality checks to ensure accurate segmentation, routing, attribution, and timely follow-up, partnering with Marketing Operations when system support is required.
  • Collaborate with regional and distribution teams to support growth through direct and indirect channels, ensuring alignment on positioning, targeting, campaign strategy, and execution.
  • Develop sales enablement and customer-facing content, including application notes, case studies, webinars, product guides, campaign assets, sell sheets, presentations, and follow-up templates.
  • Build internal and external networks to gather Voice of Customer insights and identify Key Opinion Leaders who can help shape messaging, reveal unmet needs, and strengthen go-to-market plans.
  • Monitor and report on campaign and website performance, including engagement, MQLs, pipeline, conversion rates, revenue influence, and ROI, and translate results into clear recommendations.
  • Use AI, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and project-management tools to improve targeting, segmentation, content development, execution speed, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Key Requirements
  • Experience in B2B marketing within life sciences, clinical diagnostics, laboratory products, healthcare technology, or another technically complex and regulated market.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing integrated demand-generation campaigns, with a clear understanding of the buyer journey, lead nurturing, ABM, and sales enablement.
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex scientific products and applications. Familiarity with clinical laboratory quality control, linearity and calibration verification, reference materials, molecular diagnostics, NGS, or IVD assay development is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing or contributing to website strategy, content optimization, SEO, and conversion-rate improvement for a product-rich B2B website or e-commerce environment.
  • Comfort working across a broad portfolio and multiple customer segments while managing several projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Product Management, Marketing Operations, Digital, and regional teams, specifically liaising with the Ireland Multichem team.
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and project-management platforms such as Salesforce, MCAE, Google Analytics, and Asana.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign, website, pipeline, and revenue data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent prioritization skills, sound commercial judgment, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to identifying and acting on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently while remaining aligned with team objectives. Fluent in English. Must be East Coast U.S.-based and willing to travel occasionally for meetings, customer engagement, and industry events.
