Senior Software Engineer — Full Stack

About the Role

We are working with a client seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and ship high-quality full stack features across front-end and back-end systems
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
  • Participate actively in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver against business objectives
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and technical debt
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
  • Contribute to system design, API development, and database architecture
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with demonstrated full stack capability
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework — React, Vue, or Angular
  • Solid back-end experience in one or more languages — Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar
  • Experience designing and working with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL API design and development
  • Experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP

Compensation
