This remote role is designed to provide a climate-controlled work setting, allowing our Licensed Clinical Social Workers to operate from the comfort of their own home, while also offering a collaborative atmosphere. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary duties will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs while employing diagnostic tools such as the DSM-5.
• Creating individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique backgrounds and needs of patients, including considerations for cultural diversity.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions aimed at supporting patients' mental health diagnoses.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patients’ progress and adjusting the treatment plans accordingly based on patient feedback and clinical evaluations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, including liaising with referral agencies and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing mentorship and supervision to interns and less experienced staff, contributing to collective learning and professional development.
• Creating and maintaining accurate treatment records and reports using contemporary digital tools in compliance with all regulatory standards.

The focus of care will be individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. This specialized patient population requires sensitivity, empathy, and a tailored approach to therapy. Understanding the psychological impact of cancer, the LCSW will work closely with patients to foster resilience and coping strategies tailored to each unique circumstance.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in hospice care, oncology services, or advanced clinical training in behavioral health will be prioritized. Knowledge of specialized therapeutic practices for cancer patients will enhance one’s application.
