• Evaluate clients’ mental health needs through comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Provide compassionate and effective therapy through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for clients experiencing mood disorders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of counselors, psychiatrists, and community partners to ensure holistic care and successful patient outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, contributing insights from your clinical practice while learning from the collective knowledge of your peers.

You will work with a diverse client base, ranging from adolescents to adults, who face challenges including mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma. Your expertise will be vital in implementing strategies that cater to the unique needs of clients from varied backgrounds. By engaging in community outreach and educational initiatives, you will also promote mental health awareness and support within Chester and surrounding areas.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) in the state of New York.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a strong track record of successfully treating clients with mood disorders.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds, fostering a supportive and trusting environment.

• Demonstrated experience in a community mental health setting, with a focus on outpatient therapy.
