Crystal Lake Families & Kids Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) to join our dynamic team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This full-time remote position is essential in delivering outstanding mental health services within a vibrant outpatient clinic environment. As a part of our outpatient clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contributing to an integrated healthcare delivery model that truly prioritizes patient-centered care.

• Conduct initial patient intakes to assess mental health needs, using standardized tools to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
• Formulate comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers, ensuring alignment with the patient’s specific goals and circumstances.
• Provide brief, focused therapeutic interventions tailored to clients experiencing various mental health challenges.
• Lead regular follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment methods as necessary, and ensure continuity of care.
• Identify “at-risk” patients and develop targeted prevention plans to avert deterioration of their mental health.
• Engage in case management by coordinating care with other providers and supporting patients in accessing community resources.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation as per established ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver psycho-educational resources to empower clients in self-management of their mental health.
• Collaborate with clinic management and peers to evaluate program outcomes and suggest improvements, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.
• Extensive knowledge in areas such as mental health assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Ability to create a therapeutic environment that respects patients’ confidentiality and individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for establishing effective relationships with clients, families, and team members.
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

• Experience in outpatient settings, specifically in roles that focus on integrated care models.
• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses and guidelines, along with a solid understanding of behavioral therapy methodologies.
• Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) proficiency is highly desired, enhancing our ability to serve a multilingual community.

The salary range for this role is competitive, positioned between USD 87,000 - 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
