Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for clients of all ages, targeting a wide variety of mental health issues.
• Facilitate couples therapy to foster improved communication, conflict resolution, and relationship strength.
• Continuously review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback from clients.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories in compliance with ethical standards.
• Effectively communicate with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Respond to clients in crisis, providing immediate support and intervention when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they are empowered to make informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment.
• Promote wellness and self-care practices to clients and model the same for personal professional resilience.
• Represent Navigate Family and Kids Counseling Clinic positively, adhering to its mission and values in all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, which may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clinic serves families and children, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients through empathy-focused care. You will be integral in fostering trust and creating a safe therapeutic environment for clients where they feel empowered to explore their experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Proficiency in completing detailed client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and maintaining accurate records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a broad spectrum of age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms proficiently to deliver therapy services effectively.
• Background in crisis intervention techniques or experience in high-stress scenarios.
• Familiarity with community resources for mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and education.
