As a part of our community health clinic, you will have the opportunity to engage with clients on an outpatient basis, typically through scheduled appointments that fit both your and your clients' needs. • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Carry out initial assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain Clinical Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical notes adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements, facilitating both client care and compliance.

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse clients, including individuals, couples, and families seeking support for a wide array of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will play a key role in empowering clients from various cultural backgrounds to navigate their emotional journeys and achieve their personal goals.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software.

• Specialization in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couple's therapy.
• Experience working in a community health setting.

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
