Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals and families facing terminal illnesses, including various types of cancer, chronic diseases, and end-of-life issues. The focus is on providing compassionate support to enhance quality of life and dignity during the hospice experience. Your role as an LCSW will be crucial in addressing the psychological ramifications of terminal diagnoses and assisting families in navigating grief and loss.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within hospice care or palliative health settings.
  • Expertise in solution-based and trauma-informed therapeutic methods.
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and their families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capacity for critical thinking in challenging situations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings, with a focus on end-of-life issues.
  • Background in crisis intervention and family counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
