Job description

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is currently seeking CA licensed Psychiatrists and Psychiatrist Supervisor to join our very well-established multidisciplinary clinic. Our friendly private practice-like offices are located in Valencia, Westlake Village, and Torrance, CA and provide telehealth services across the state of CA.
All services can be provided in-office or via telepsychiatry. Office hours, including office support staff, are available between 9am and 6pm PST (hours can be changed if necessary). We encourage completely virtual work set up from your home office. The schedule is very flexible. We'll work with your schedule, speed, and caseload.
We are a well established behavioral health organization with our roots in group private practice. Our team consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, therapists, psychologists, and social workers. We pride ourselves in facilitating a supportive work environment, with a particularly strong psychiatric community and culture in the clinic.
New U provides total facilitation with regard to marketing, scheduling, billing, and procuring new patients. We support the maintenance of the medical records, as well as providing support for medical records and letter requests. Our priority is to allow our providers to focus on client care and documentation, leaving all administrative tasks and functions to our team.
If you are a psychiatrist with an existing practice but you feel you are burning out and need administrative and management support and full-time service, plus marketing to get new patients every week, we can fully serve you so you can dedicate your brain power and time to what you love doing, seeing patients. You also can learn about the latest innovation in the field of mental health: ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. We are training in the evaluation and prescription skills as well as the foundation of ketamine psychotherapy.
Child and adolescent psychiatry and suboxone/vivitrol experience/ certificate is a plus.

Job Type: Contract
Payment: 60% of the collected amount for seeing clients

  • Completing notes within 24 hours of the service rendered

Payment: $1,000 a month if the following duties are performed:
  • Providing monthly supervision to 4 nurse practitioners
  • Answering clinical consultation questions via email and phone
