How You Will Make an Impact:
We are seeking an AI & Data Analytics Developer to support a federal acquisition process modernization effort. This role will work under the direction of the Lead AI & Data Analytics Engineer to build dashboards, data models, workflows, prototypes, reports, and analytical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, Advana, Jupiter, and Databricks.
The successful candidate must be technically curious, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to execute quickly. This individual will help clean, transform, validate, and visualize data while supporting AI-enabled use cases that generate insights for acquisition and contract writing stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who can build, test, document, and improve analytics products while learning the client's business process and federal data environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, workflows, and data products.
  • Build Power BI dashboards and reports to support acquisition, contract writing, workload, data quality, and leadership reporting needs.
  • Support Power Platform development, including Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • Assist with Palantir Foundry development, including datasets, transformations, dashboards, applications, and analytical products.
  • Work within Advana and Jupiter environments to access, explore, analyze, and prepare data.
  • Use Databricks, SQL, Python, PySpark, or similar tools to clean, transform, validate, and prepare data for analytics and AI use cases.
  • Support AI-enabled analytics capabilities, including automated insights, natural language querying, anomaly detection, trend analysis, and leadership summaries.
  • Validate AI-generated insights against source data and business rules.
  • Document data sources, transformation logic, assumptions, business rules, calculations, and known data limitations.
  • Assist with data quality checks, data reconciliation, and issue identification.
  • Support user testing, dashboard validation, prototype development, and stakeholder feedback sessions.
  • Work with acquisition and contract writing subject matter experts to understand reporting needs and business context.
  • Support recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and executive-level data requests.
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer, business analysts, system owners, and client stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate analytics products.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, AI analytics, reporting, dashboard development and workflow automation.
  • Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
  • Experience using SQL and analytical tools such as Python, Jupiter notebooks, or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience cleaning, transforming, validating, and reconciling data with ability to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, or automated insight generation.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute tasks with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with, or willingness to quickly learn, modern analytics platforms and environment such as Palantir Foundry, Advana, Jupiter, and Databricks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience supporting federal, defense, or national security analytics programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Travel
Up to 10% travel, depending on environment cutovers, stakeholder design sessions, and validation/test events.
