Position Overview

The Market Access & Reimbursement Analyst supports the Market Access team in securing and protecting reimbursement and favorable coverage for the company's medical device portfolio. The role provides the research, analysis and coordination that sit behind our value evidence, payer engagement, data analytics, and health technology assessment work across multiple markets. It is designed as a development role for a recent postgraduate who already has practical reimbursement exposure from an internship or work experience and is ready to build a career in Medtech market access.The analyst works within the Market Access function with exposure to, and involvement in projects spanning health economics, evidence generation, coding and payment analytics. Day-to-day direction comes from US Market Access Lead with regular exposure to the wider team and to colleagues in clinical, commercial and medical affairs. The role is deliberately broad, so the person gains a rounded view of how access is won and then defended over the life of a product.

Essential Job Functions
  • Monitor reimbursement, coding, and health technology assessment developments and summarize impact/relevance
  • Update tracking & databases of codes, payments, payer policies and assessment timelines accurate and current
  • Run basic literature searches and evidence reviews that feed our value messages, dossiers and payer material
  • Help build and quality check value dossiers, budget impact summaries and payer facing documents
  • Prepare clear briefing notes, slide decks and internal updates for senior stakeholders
  • Support the coordination of assessment and payer submissions, tracking actions, deadlines and document versions
  • Gather and organise inputs from regional teams to support planning
  • Provide general analytical and project support to senior colleagues as priorities move
  • Support departmental budget and finance tracking such as PO spend, balance and reviewing/maintaining dashboards

What good looks like in the first year:

  • Becomes the trusted owner of the team's market intelligence and tracking, so senior colleagues can rely on the data without rechecking it
  • Produces accurate research summaries with light supervision by the end of the first six months
  • Leads on dashboard development and tracking/monitoring of data and activities relevant to market access
  • Builds steady working relationships as necessary across corporate, clinical, medical affairs, and commercial teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as health economics, public health, life sciences, pharmacy or health policy or equivalent experience
  • Practical reimbursement or market access experience gained through practical experience with a medical device company or health care organization is desired
  • A sound grasp of how reimbursement, coding and health technology assessment work in US healthcare market is desired
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and evidence
  • Clear writing and speaking, with the ability to turn detail into a simple summary
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to keep several tasks moving at once
  • Adept at Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with value dossiers, budget impact or cost effectiveness concepts
  • A confident, optimistic, and action-oriented mindset
  • Experience and interest in presenting data clearly and accurately in a visually appealing and accessible format.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$87,000.00 - $140,300.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
