We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a Junior level Full Stack .NET Web Developer to support existing government business web applications utilizing a technology stack of a Vue JS front end client, C# .NET Core 7.0 Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures for the database layer. This position will also provide production support for an older technology stack of C# .NET Framework 4.8 Web Forms with jQuery and Microsoft SQL Server. This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs.
Duties:
  • Development tools used include Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Enterprise Manager and GIT. Development methodology follows agile scrum-like processes.
  • Highly desired technical skills include modern JavaScript framework, C#, and SQL language experience.
  • Highly desired professional skills include excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile scrum-like development cycle. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.

Required Experience:
  • At least one (1) year of experience in related project support

Required Education:
  • BA/BS degree

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
  • A) An AS or AA degree and three (3) years of experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this
    position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or
    B) Five (5) years of experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be
    substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Desired Experience/Education:
  • At least one (1) year of software development
  • Experience with software development utilizing C#, a modern JavaScript framework, and a SQL database.
  • IT degree, or certificate of completion from a coding bootcamp program.
  • Professional certifications (MCSD, etc.) desired.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
