Job description

Regional Director of Strategic Growth

Location: Remote (United States) | Regional Travel Required
Territory: Florida | Texas | North Carolina & South Carolina | Michigan

Lead the Future of Healthcare Growth

NIVA Health is one of the fastest-growing healthcare organizations in the United States, transforming the delivery of advanced wound care. As we continue to expand our national footprint, we are seeking an accomplished Regional Director of Strategic Growth to lead new business development and drive market expansion within an assigned territory.

This is a leadership opportunity for a strategic, relationship-driven healthcare sales leader who knows how to open markets, build high-value healthcare partnerships, and turn opportunities into measurable growth.

The Regional Director of Strategic Growth will play a critical role in expanding NIVA Health's Wound Care Division by developing new facility partnerships, expanding market presence, and establishing strong relationships with healthcare organizations throughout their assigned region.

Candidates may be considered for one of the following territories: Florida, Texas, North Carolina/South Carolina, or Michigan.

If you thrive on building relationships, opening new markets, winning strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

The Regional Director of Strategic Growth leads new business development efforts within an assigned geographic territory, with a focus on acquiring new facility partnerships and expanding NIVA Health's market footprint.

You will lead and develop Market Development Executives within your region, execute regional growth strategies, negotiate healthcare agreements, and partner with Executive Leadership to achieve ambitious growth objectives.

This role is focused on new business—not account management. Once a new account is successfully implemented, ownership transitions to our Account Management team, allowing you to remain focused on what you do best: developing new business, opening new markets, and creating the next opportunity for growth.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute the regional strategic growth plan to expand NIVA Health's market presence.
  • Drive new business development and market expansion within your assigned territory.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Market Development Executives.
  • Identify and secure new Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Independent Living Facilities (ILFs), and other strategic healthcare partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers, ownership groups, and enterprise healthcare organizations.
  • Lead discovery meetings, executive presentations, proposal development, and complex contract negotiations.
  • Oversee the regional sales pipeline, forecasting, CRM accuracy, performance metrics, and executive reporting.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Clinical Leadership, Credentialing, Marketing, and Finance to ensure successful implementation of new partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business development processes, sales effectiveness, and regional market expansion strategies.
  • Represent NIVA Health at industry conferences, networking events, and key customer meetings.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and develop strategies to increase NIVA Health's presence within the assigned territory.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven healthcare sales leader with a proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, win new business, and lead teams to measurable results.

Qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare business development or sales leadership experience.
  • Proven success securing new healthcare partnerships and/or enterprise-level contracts.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast results.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.
What Sets You Apart
  • Experience working with Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Independent Living Facilities, Home Health agencies, or post-acute healthcare organizations.
  • Established healthcare relationships and market knowledge within your assigned territory.
  • Strong strategic planning and regional market expansion experience.
  • A demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and translate them into long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers, ownership groups, and multi-facility or enterprise organizations.
  • A collaborative leadership style that inspires accountability, innovation, and results.
  • A passion for building scalable business development processes in a high-growth organization.
  • Existing relationships with healthcare providers, facility operators, ownership groups, or other strategic healthcare decision-makers within the region.
Why Join NIVA Health?
  • Help shape the future of advanced wound care and healthcare delivery.
  • Join a mission-driven organization experiencing rapid national growth.
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives with direct visibility to Executive Leadership.
  • Build and develop a high-performing regional business development team.
  • Help identify and open new markets where NIVA Health can make a meaningful impact.
  • Work alongside passionate professionals committed to improving patient outcomes.
  • Enjoy opportunities for continued professional growth and leadership advancement.
Success in This Role

  • Regional market expansion
  • Enterprise agreements
  • Qualified sales pipeline
  • Contract conversion rates
