This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours to accommodate the needs of both our clients and staff. While most interactions will take place through digital platforms, counselors will also have the opportunity to conduct home visits when necessary. • Conduct ongoing assessments to effectively identify and address the mental health needs of patients.
• Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, family members, and clients to provide updates on individual progress and treatment plans.
• Organize and present a structured schedule for appointments, home visits, and observational activities to ensure consistency in care delivery.
• Conduct and document home visits to facilitate observations, data collection, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Implement treatment plans in a manner that is both effective and compliant with procedural guidelines.
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to contribute to comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Complete precise and timely monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring continuity and accuracy in treatment records.
• Provide continuous support through follow-up interviews and home visits, addressing ongoing patient needs.
• Maintain organized records to facilitate easy access to information for all stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Serve as a liaison to the mental health community, fostering partnerships that support developmental goals in mental health services.
• Assist in the creation of training materials to enhance team competency in program implementation and documentation.

Your role as an LCPC will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including both adults and youth facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This position will allow you to specialize in key areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, and substance abuse counseling, enabling you to make profound impacts on the lives of your clients through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a counselor is required, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with a wide array of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team in support of patient care.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other necessary technologies.

• Experience with evidence-based practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Background in community mental health settings.
• Active participation in professional development workshops or continued education in specialized areas of counseling.
