As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Jewish Family Care Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Providing individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities to foster personal growth and resilience.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and collective healing among participants.
• Establishing collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and continuously monitoring their progress to adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Offering teletherapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients who may have transportation or mobility challenges.
• Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions and treatment outcomes to meet ethical and client care standards.
• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, including training workshops and peer supervision, to enhance clinical skills and stay current with the latest therapeutic approaches.

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals and families, including but not limited to couples, children, and adolescents, specifically those coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Jewish Family Care Therapy is committed to serving clients from various backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and culturally competent care, particularly for clients of color and those within the LGBTQIA community.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A valid, current LMFT license issued by the state of Arizona.
• At least 2 years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations, including families, couples, and individuals facing specific challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining therapeutic relationships.

While not mandatory, experience in providing clinical support to clients struggling with addiction, trauma recovery, or specific demographic groups (e.g., children, LGBTQIA) is highly valued. Familiarity with teletherapy practices will also enhance the candidacy.
