Comfort of Home Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fully remote, allowing for maximum flexibility for both you and the clients you serve. With a focus on collaboration, our counseling team utilizes advanced telehealth technology to conduct assessments and therapy sessions effectively. You will have access to electronic health records systems, specifically AVATAR, to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently. You will also collaborate with various healthcare professionals to create a network of support for clients, fostering an integrated care model.

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental, emotional, and behavioral health concerns, documented from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.
• Developing tailored treatment and intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based practices.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to enhance engagement and recovery outcomes.
• Continuously monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs and improve therapeutic efficacy.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals, including social workers, doctors, and nurses, to formulate and implement integrative intervention strategies.
• Providing follow-up care and communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients admitted to inpatient facilities.
• Identifying potential barriers to recovery and implementing preventive measures to ensure clients stay on track with their treatment goals.
• Offering guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers to assist them in managing mental and behavioral challenges.

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse array of clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders. As a remote counselor, you will adapt your approach to meet each client's unique circumstances, promoting a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Successfully passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling, with a proven track record of delivering compassionate client care.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, for documentation and treatment tracking.
• Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders, including physical health conditions and addiction issues.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in mental healthcare, primarily those endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities and a sympathetic demeanor.

• Previous experience in a community health or clinical setting focused on mental health services.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Experience in managing complex cases that require collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
