Job description

Interface Engineer (HL7) – Remote | Contract

We’re hiring a hands-on Interface Engineer to support healthcare integrations and interface development.


What You’ll Do

  • Build, configure, and test HL7 interfaces
  • Troubleshoot integration and system issues
  • Work with EMR/EHR and PACS systems
  • Perform SQL-based data validation
  • Ensure secure communication using TLS/mTLS


✅ Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • 2+ years of HL7 experience (building & testing interfaces)
  • Strong Networking & OS troubleshooting (debugging skills required)
  • Experience with TLS and mTLS communications
  • EMR knowledge: Cerner, EPIC, McKesson
  • PACS knowledge: Fuji, Agfa, Philips
  • Experience with PowerScribe


Preferred Skills

  • SQL (query writing & data validation)
  • XML or JavaScript
