Job description

Job Title:

SAP S/4-HANA Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer for Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote, Need to be onsite 1 week in a month

Description of Duties

·        Design and develop custom objects, enhancements, reports, and interfaces using SAP’s ABAP (described below within the Glossary of Abbreviations section of this document) on SAP S/4 HANA.

·        Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and compliance with clean core principles.

·        Collaborate FI/CO and MM functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

·        Participate in the design and implementation of WRICE objects for Finance and Inventory Management processes.

·        Ensure all developments are aligned with SAP S/4HANA extensibility and upgrade-safe practices.

·        Stay current with SAP S/4HANA innovations and contribute to continuous improvement of SAP solutions.

·        Provide deep understanding of SAP SOM: Business Partners, Products, Subscription Orders, Subscription Contracts including BTMF process.

·        Perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas within SAP.

·        Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment.

·        Recommend and author coding best practices and sharing with project team members.

·        Take ownership of assigned tasks.

·        Fully document all created work associated with this position, including technical and functional designs and diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, best practices for others to follow, plus any other documentation as required by the client.  This documentation shall follow the format and / or templates as instructed by the client.

·        Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.

·        Lead and participate in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems.

·        Work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned.

·        Adhere to and follow all of the client’s standards, policies, and procedures.

·        Utilize various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties.

·        Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the client.

Desired Skillset

·        Candidate must have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience and at least 4 years of experience in S/4 HANA BRIM module.

·        Must have SAP BRIM/SOM/CI implementation experience.

·        Hands-on experience in SAP technical areas in SOM One Order Framework, GENIL/BOL programming, Fiori, Gateway, OData, Advanced ABAP including CDS Views

·        Exposure to Fiori App development (Transactional and Web UI Apps)

·        Experience in SAP ODATA Service / REST API development and troubleshooting and Java’s JSON file generation and Extension Method implementation.

·        Experience developing ODATA using RAP and other SAP recommended technologies.

·        Hands-on experience in cross functional areas in SAP BRIM/SOM/CC/CI/FI/CO will be an added advantage.

·        Hands-on experience using BAS and BTP.

·        Experience in Inventory/Wearhouse and FI modules will be an added advantage

·        Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

·        Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse group.

Minimum Experience

·        7 years of BRIM and SAP S/4 HANA ABAP experience.

·        Experience as a hands-on developer or technical SME on 2 system implementation projects.

·        An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

·        Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned.

Certifications / Education

·        SAP BRIM technical certifications.

·        SAP ABAP technical certifications.

·        Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems.
