Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Duration: 8+ months
Location: *Hybrid Day 1: Philadelphia, PA (4 days in office weekly)
Tax Terms: C2C, W2.
Work Authorization: H1B, USC, GC
Job Summary:
Springboot, Java 8, Microservices developer. Expected to get the requirements, do the initial level of analysis and do the low-level design. Coding and unit testing to be performed and the integration test support to be provided to the testing team. Good communication, technical skills are needed.
Experience: 8+ years
Top 3 Must Haves:
1. Java8
2. Spring Boot
3. Microservices
Nice to have skills:
Working in Agile framework is an added advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Ability to problem solving and work as a team is the critical success factors.
Identify root causes of recurring problems to implement effective solutions (at least temporary workaround).
Log analysis to be performed through Putty and Kibana.
Work on BMC remedy (IT Service Management tool) for tickets handling.
Work closely with test, development and requirements team members to analyse, investigate and resolve common issues.
Work with customers to understand needs and provide excellent service.
Promptly respond on the user issues and take ownership on the same.
Incident Handling - Need to drive the outage calls for any incidents that happens for Application.
Notify the clients on any incidents/major issues WRT to application.
Need to send adhoc reports to clients and few users depending on the need Should be able to coordinate with other teams - downstreams/upstreams for any notification issues.
The business flow should be identified and take action accordingly.
Maintain the list of current issues/defects that of the application.
Should actively check on the mails/alerts after hours and weekend support.
