Job description

As Medical Scientific Liaison Oncology Pipeline (m/f/d), you will work as a field-based Oncology medical scientific liaison in Switzerland, building trusted scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts. You will share and discuss clinical evidence, gather insights from practice, and support medical strategy across Oncology teams. We value curiosity, clear communication, and teamwork.

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Engage one-to-one with healthcare professionals and external experts to discuss clinical evidence, guidelines and patient care.
  • Capture and share field insights to inform medical strategy, evidence generation and local plans.
  • Provide balanced, evidence-based scientific education to healthcare professionals and internal colleagues.
  • Support and enable investigator-sponsored studies and other collaborative research initiatives.
  • Respond appropriately to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate and timely scientific information.
  • Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to deliver compliant medical plans and local activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clinicians, academic experts and key stakeholders across Switzerland.
  • Stay current on scientific literature, clinical guidelines and evolving treatment landscapes relevant to Oncology.
  • Translate clinical and real-world insights into actionable recommendations for medical affairs and clinical teams.
  • Plan and deliver scientific presentations and training to healthcare audiences and internal teams.
  • Support compliance with local regulations and company standards in all medical interactions and documentation.
  • Contribute to local medical projects, advisory boards and educational initiatives that address unmet needs in patient care.

Basic Qualifications:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Degree in life sciences, for example MD, PharmD, MSc, or PhD, or equivalent clinical qualification.
  • Multiple years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in Oncology in a field-based medical role, such as Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor.
  • Familiarity with Swiss healthcare systems, clinical practice and key opinion leaders.
  • Strong ability to read, evaluate and communicate clinical evidence clearly and accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with an ability to engage healthcare professionals effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and ideally German. Other major Swiss languages (French, Italian) would be beneficial.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region and work independently.


Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Prior experience in oncology, hematology or another relevant therapeutic area.
  • Experience supporting investigator-sponsored studies or other clinical research collaborations.
  • Previous clinical experience in situations where direct/or indirect decision-making authority for patient care was demonstrated (e.g., direct patient care, treatment protocol development, drug therapy guidelines development, traditional clinical pharmacy practice settings).
  • Training or experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or clinical trial processes.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to medical strategy or launch readiness.
