In this role, you will deliver compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic care to adults via virtual platforms, ensuring that individuals receive the mental health support they need from the comfort of their homes.

About the Organization

People Concern Counseling, LLC is a pioneering tech-enabled healthcare provider dedicated to offering quality mental health services informed by the most current scientific research. Our focus is on delivering healing through human connection, utilizing evidenced-based approaches, particularly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We aim to bridge the gap in mental health support, especially for those at risk of suicide and those requiring mental health care, by providing accessible therapy that changes lives.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to create a balanced work-life environment while participating in a meaningful vocation. Our telehealth facility is designed for your convenience, incorporating tools and technologies that facilitate efficient patient interactions. You will work with a dedicated support team that includes IT support, billing assistance, and operational guidance, ensuring that you can concentrate solely on providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and fellow counselors, to establish a comprehensive treatment approach tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Utilize automated assessment tools to gather data on symptoms, functional progress, and treatment goals, adjusting care plans proactively based on this feedback.
  • Engage in weekly consultation sessions with leadership, ensuring you receive ongoing clinical support and guidance to enhance your practice.
  • Document client interactions and progress efficiently using our integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and treatment software, streamlining your workflow.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse adult population, including those experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your work will also involve addressing patients who are at a higher risk of severe psychological distress, including suicidal ideation. We emphasize culturally responsive care and believe that every individual deserves treated regardless of their background.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (appropriate licensure such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is necessary).
  • A minimum of two years' experience in mental health counseling, specifically with adult populations.
  • Independent licensure for at least one year, permitting you to operate independently as a therapist, counselor, or psychologist.
  • A commitment to providing culturally responsive care to all populations, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of direct experience delivering cognitive behavioral therapy to adults, with a solid understanding of a range of mental health disorders.
  • Familiarity with digital solutions and telehealth platforms in clinical practice.
  • Experience supporting patients with high-risk mental health issues, including suicidal ideation.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, with additional bonus opportunities.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance options, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
  • Continuous professional development is encouraged, featuring free monthly training sessions and educational resources.
  • No on-call duties, allowing for a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility to create your own schedule.
  • Health insurance benefits designed to fit individual needs through a partnership with Stride Health.
