ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


Leads one or more cross functional IT project teams or workstreams on a program and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members, including developers, analysts, testers, and system administrators; which may include directing third party resources as well as virtual teams. Orients members of the project team on the Standard Project Lifecycle Framework. Supports business case development; performs project registration/consolidation/prioritization as required; creates funding plan; and administers project pipeline checkpoints to drive delivery and mitigate/resolve bottlenecks.

  • Develops and implement project plans specific to IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations.

  • Coordinates and oversees all aspects of IT project execution, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Monitor project progress and identify and address any technical issues or risks that may impact project delivery.

  • Manage IT project budgets, resource, and timelines to ensure successful completion within scope and budget.

  • Ensure adherence to IT project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, to effectively manage and deliver projects.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT project team members, including mentoring and coaching, manages deliverable reviews and signoffs; manages documentation and the knowledge transfer to the "business as usual" functions; conducts "lesson-learned" review.

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders, including business users, IT support teams, vendors and senior management, to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in IT project management to drive innovation and improve project delivery processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 or more years of increasingly complex project related experience required.

  • Experience working on system conversions and/or systems upgrades.

  • Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry a plus.

  • Knowledge and experience with IT standard projectlifecycle.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
