We are looking for contributors toparticipatein apaid AI data collection projectfocused on capturing real-world video data to support the development of AI technologies.

As a contributor, you will record short videos from anegocentric (first-person) perspective, where the camerarepresentsyour point of view. You will capture everyday activities (such as walking, cooking, organizing, or other routine tasks) while providing detailed narration of your actions.

This isa great opportunityto contribute to innovative AI projects while working remotely on your own schedule.


Project Details

Record first-person perspective videos using a head mount, chest mount, smart glasses, GoPro, or similar equipment
Video duration:1-20 minutes per recording
Narrate your actions clearly while recording
Complete recordings from your own location with a flexible schedule
Project duration: approximately2-4 weeks


Examples of Activities

Participants may record everyday activities such as:

  • Household tasks and cleaning
  • Cooking and food preparation
  • DIY projects and repairs
  • Crafts and hobbies
  • Other routine activities that involve clear actions and narration


Eligible Narration Languages

We are currently looking for contributors who can narrate in:

English, Polish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Romanian, Turkish


Requirements
Native speaker in at least one of the supported narration languages
Comfortable recording from a first-person (egocentric) perspective
Able to provide clear and continuous verbal narration while performing everyday activities
Have access to a suitable recording device or be willing to use the required equipment
Able to follow detailed recording guidelines and meet quality requirements
Available to commit time during the 2-4 week project period
Previous experience with data collection projects is preferred but not required
Bilingual and multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply

Time Commitment

We are ideally looking for contributors who can support afull-time schedule (up to 40 hours/week). However, contributors with limited availability are also welcome to apply.

The schedule is flexible, allowing you to complete recordings at times that work best for you.


Payment
$40 USD for every hour of video that is accepted via PayPal

Compensation will be made per accepted hour of recording.

Please note:
All videos will go through a detailed quality review process. Feedback may be provided when needed, andpayment will only be issued for videos that meet the project's quality requirements and are accepted.

If you don't have a recording device or strap, you can buy a head or chest strap. We will reimburse you once you complete at least 10 hours of accepted videos. We'll also show you examples of equipment that works well.
