Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for new clients via telehealth consultations, utilizing standardized tools to ensure thorough understanding of their needs.

  • Administer therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring reliability in client care.

  • Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to continually enhance the quality of care provided within the organization.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, ensuring they understand treatment options and fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will connect you with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By providing tailored therapeutic support, you will help these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, contributing positively to their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New York.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, especially in a psychotherapy setting.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and a solid understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment options.
