Apple Professional Services Engineer
Client: US Army
POP: 12+ months; Part-Time (114 Total Hours)
Location: Monterey, CA

SCOPE
The Apple Professional Services Engineer (APSE) is a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for delivering deployment optimization and technical consulting for Apple devices and infrastructure at DLIFLC. The APSE will evaluate existing configurations, improve deployment workflows, and provide best-practice knowledge transfer for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS platforms.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Apple Certification or equivalent professional experience with macOS, iOS, and iPadOS environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise Apple device management and deployment strategies.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant IT support experience, or 7+ years with AA/AS degree.
  • Familiarity with military or government IT environments is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must complete the following within 30 days of contract start:
    • Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I Training
    • Operations Security (OPSEC) Training
    • iWATCH Training
    • DoD Information Assurance (IA) Cyber Awareness Training
TASKS
  • Assess DLIFLC's current Apple macOS, iOS, and iPadOS builds and configurations.
  • Recommend and implement updated deployment workflows for Apple devices.
  • Conduct up to three (3) onsite visits and remote support as needed (total of up to 114 work hours).
  • Deliver informal knowledge transfer to DLIFLC technical staff on Apple best practices.
  • Provide support through scheduled remote sessions (minimum four 6-hour sessions via telephone/WebEx).
  • Offer real-time troubleshooting and advisory support using secure remote access tools.
  • Collaborate with the DLIFLC Information Technology staff to ensure integration and compliance with institutional policies.
  • Provide timely deliverables and adhere to pre-approved work plans.
