Job Overview This team is based in the Atlanta, GA area and works primarily from home. The role supports the broker with top‐notch client services, producing client submissions, proposals, presentations, insurance summaries, and reports. The Account Manager assists with routine inquiries and transactions concerning clients. Location Remote – candidates must live in the Greater Atlanta GA area and be willing and able to drive to EPIC's Sandy Springs GA office as needed for meetings. What We're Looking For Strong professional communication skills – both written and verbal. High attention to detail and quick learning of software systems. Required: At least 2+ years of commercial insurance account management experience and a current property & casualty license. Adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and problem‐solving situations. What You'll Do Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests, and other servicing items during non‐renewal periods. Assist clients with policy coverage, exclusions, and related questions; support Producers in client servicing. Provide client account services with oversight of Producers or Account Executives, including research, analysis and handling client questions on coverage and policy issues. Conduct renewal processes, perform exposure analysis, negotiate premiums and commissions, prepare proposals, and oversee binder accuracy. Support Producers and Account Executives by preparing presentations, proposals, and participating in client meetings. Maintain client files, prepare billing, and provide standard administrative support. Ensure timely, accurate invoicing and monthly expirations. Meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System while documenting all activity. What You'll Bring Full knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of coverage and services. Ability to recognize problems and respond appropriately. Logical analysis skills to draw solid conclusions. Experience with Agency Management Systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to manage, maintain, and write clients and prospects. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to navigate the Internet. Strong attention to detail and time management. Multitasking ability and priority setting. Effective work with or without direct supervision, both in team and independently. Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and oral. Education and Experience High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required; college degree preferred. Two or more years' experience in mid‐size brokerage or carrier. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software). Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and juggle multiple tasks. High interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations; teamwork, poise, tact, and diplomacy. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current property & casualty license. Compensation The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
