This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK, which is the preferred work location. However, this role also offers the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work arrangement.
The Staff Travel Professional, working under general supervision, is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of corporate travel arrangements, including air, car, and hotel bookings, as well as handling changes and last-minute adjustments. This position requires strong Sabre GDS expertise, exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive itineraries in a demanding environment. The role focuses on supporting business travelers, with a preference for experience in international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Book and manage all aspects of corporate travel, including domestic and international travel (air, car, hotel, rail) using Sabre
  • Utilize Sabre and other travel management systems to optimize booking efficiency and traveler experience
  • Handle exchanges, refunds, and schedule changes
  • Manage GDS queues and maintain accuracy of bookings
  • Handle changes, cancellations, and urgent travel requests efficiently
  • Assist travelers with obtaining necessary documentation (passports, visas, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with company travel policies and industry regulations while accommodating traveler preferences when possible
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving travel-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records, complete data entry, and assist with billing and invoicing
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all travel arrangements and documentation
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with travelers and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
  • Work under a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines and respond to immediate needs
  • At times- be available after hours to address urgent needs
  • Monitor travel disruptions and proactively re-accommodate travelers
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive traveler and corporate information
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate traveler profiles and preferences

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline, or commensurate work experience

Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on Sabre GDS experience preferred
  • Experience with corporate/business and international travel preferred

Competencies:
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
