If you're a results-driven leader who thrives on developing teams, optimizing performance, and fostering growth, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both people and business outcomes.This role will sit remote out of the Columbus, Ohio area as it is central to the region.What You'll DoLead and develop high-performing store teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and operational standards.Foster a results-driven culture through communication of expectations, performance metrics, and coaching.Mentor and support Store Managers to build future leadership talent.Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning in partnership with HR and corporate leadership.Drive operational excellence by ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Conduct regular store visits, track progress, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.Support the rollout and execution of new programs, operational tools, and hands-on training.Partner with Store Managers on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring; support staffing during openings or transitions.Champion community engagement within assigned territories.Analyze profit and loss (P&L) performance to develop action plans for increased profitability and efficiency.Provide strategic sales leadership to achieve budgeting goals and drive high performance.Evaluate store KPIs, including merchandising, promotions, appearance, and inventory accuracy; address performance gaps with action plans and coaching.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Minimum 3 years of retail management experience; multi-location experience preferred.Strong leadership skills with proven ability to build, coach, and develop teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers, senior leaders, customers, and vendors.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work varied hours and travel up to 90%, including overnight stays.Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to rent a car and/or provide personal transportation.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in both office and retail environments.Why Batteries PlusJoin a company that powers people's lives every day.
