As a Software License Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, procurement, and mission delivery. In this role, you'll work on acquisition and management of critical software tools, ensuring compliance with government requirements while supporting fast-moving technical teams. You'll craft clear, compelling Statements of Work, track procurements, and help shape licensing strategies that keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
You'll also collaborate closely with engineers, program managers, and stakeholders to make sure teams have exactly what they need to excel. By coordinating license distribution, monitoring usage, and anticipating demand, you'll help drive technical readiness and operational success. You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with software management or inventory management in a government environment
  • Experience with developing and implementing scheduling strategies to ensure supply stability and responsiveness to meet customer requirements
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and ensure the timely completion of responsibilities

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
