The main opportunity is a Corporate Controller role with Sentrimax Centrifuges in Mansfield, TX, and it is considerably broader than a traditional accounting Controller position.

At a high level

  • Company: Sentrimax Centrifuges — industrial services/MRO company specializing in centrifuge repair, maintenance, rentals, parts and sales.
  • Ownership: Private-equity backed. Sentrimax was acquired in March 2025 by Strive Equity Partners, with Fruition Capital involved.
  • Operations: 3 locations — Mansfield, TX; Edmonton, Alberta; and Kitchener, Ontario.
  • Role: Corporate Controller / senior accounting leader.
  • Location: Primarily on-site in Mansfield, with some potential for partial remote work after the person is fully integrated. Travel to the Canadian locations and PE/board meetings is expected.
  • Reporting to: CEO and the PE sponsor's finance lead.
  • Future potential: The position could evolve into a CFO role as the company grows.

They're looking for someone with:

  • 8+ years accounting/finance experience

  • Multi-site experience

  • PE-backed/highly leveraged company experience is a big plus
  • Epicor Kinetic/Epicor ERP experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
  • Advanced Excel/modeling skills
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA strongly preferred

The personality they're after

Probably just as important as the technical requirements:

Hands-on, entrepreneurial, process-oriented and comfortable getting into the weeds.

They need someone who can both lead the accounting team and personally perform individual-contributor work. They want someone who can tighten the close, improve systems/data, work directly with operations and communicate financial information to non-financial executives.
