Job description

We are seeking an Inventory & Procurement Manager (Remote- US based only) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing and fast-growing home services partners with multi-locations across the United States. This role is remote, but you MUST be living in the United States and be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. This role does NOT offer sponsorship, it's NOT a consulting role, and we do NOT work with 3rd parties!

Overview:

You will help build and maintain consistent inventory, purchasing, and operational processes across a growing multi-location organization. You will help create the systems, processes, and standards needed to improve inventory accuracy and support continued expansion across multiple markets. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who understands inventory controls, purchasing workflows, warehouse operations, and process improvement. You will work closely with branch leadership, warehouse teams, technicians, procurement, operations, and finance to improve inventory accuracy, strengthen compliance, and create scalable processes across multiple locations. A key part of this role will involve working with ServiceTitan to improve inventory workflows, system accuracy, material tracking, purchasing processes, and job costing.

Responsibilities:

  • Standardize inventory and purchasing processes across multiple locations.
  • Improve procedures for receiving, stocking, transferring, staging, issuing, returning, and adjusting inventory.
  • Strengthen controls around purchase orders, approvals, receiving, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment strategies to reduce shortages and excess inventory.
  • Track open purchase orders, backorders, vendor lead times, and material availability.
  • Improve inventory-related workflows and data accuracy within ServiceTitan.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, transfers, adjustments, material usage, and job costing.
  • Conduct inventory and purchasing audits and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop cycle count and physical inventory procedures.
  • Monitor branch compliance with established inventory and purchasing processes.
  • Create SOPs, reporting, and KPIs related to inventory accuracy and operational performance.
  • Partner with vendors to address pricing, availability, delivery performance, and service issues.
  • Support accurate material pricing and price book updates within ServiceTitan.
  • Train branch, warehouse, and operations teams on inventory and purchasing procedures.
  • Identify process gaps and implement practical, scalable improvements.
  • Support newly acquired locations as they transition to standardized inventory and purchasing practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience with ServiceTitan is required.
  • Previous experience in the garage door industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory controls, purchase orders, receiving, transfers, adjustments, reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
  • Experience creating and implementing SOPs and standardized processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement, operations, or process improvement preferred.
  • Experience working in a multi-location service, field operations, or warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the cause of inventory discrepancies.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and process consistency.
  • Comfortable working with employees at all levels, including warehouse teams, technicians, branch managers, finance, and leadership.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and growing environment.
  • Willingness to travel to operating locations as needed.
