Position Summary


We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Customer Service Representative to support our Class 8 truck dealership during evening hours. This role focuses on assisting customers via phone and email with breakdown support, parts inquiries, billing, and repair status updates. The position is remote for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities


-Handle inbound and outbound customer phone calls and emails in a professional, service-focused manner
-Coordinate breakdown assistance by gathering key details (unit info, location, symptoms, urgency) and routing to the appropriate internal team or process
-Check parts inventory/availability and provide accurate information on pricing and lead times
-Bill parts accurately and complete related documentation/transactions
-Monitor repair order status and communicate progress updates to customers clearly and promptly
-Liaise with service advisors, technicians, and parts staff to ensure accurate, timely information
-Document interactions, updates, and resolutions in the dealership system (DMS/CRM)
-Escalate urgent issues appropriately and follow up to ensure customer needs are met


Qualifications


-Customer service experience (dealership, trucking, automotive, or heavy-duty service environment preferred)
-Comfortable handling multiple channels (phone/email) and working in a fast-paced setting
-Strong attention to detail, especially for billing, parts numbers, and repair status notes
-Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented during breakdown or high-stress situations
-Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn dealership systems (DMS), inventory tools, and email/phone platforms
-Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a major plus
-Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
-Familiarity with Class 8/heavy-duty truck parts and service terminology
-Experience with parts invoicing, repair orders, or dispatch/breakdown coordination
-Prior work in a dealership, fleet maintenance shop, or transportation/logistics support role


Work Environment & Requirements


-Remote (dependent on location, system access, and performance)
-Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
-Ability to work the scheduled evening shift consistently: 6 PM–12 AM, Monday–Friday
