Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom represent diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges related to their mental health. This role involves understanding the intricate needs of students at various developmental stages and applying evidence-based practices to help improve their emotional and psychological well-being. By working closely with families and educators, you will play a crucial role in facilitating positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LCSW license in New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health or educational settings, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care.
  • Expertise in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating personalized treatment plans.
  • Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy across various age groups.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
  • A collaborative team player, willing to engage with colleagues and other departments to improve patient outcomes.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working specifically within school mental health programs or community health settings.
  • Familiarity with multicultural competencies and direct experience with children and adolescents facing socioeconomic challenges.
  • Demonstrated participation in professional development and continuing education within the mental health field.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a compelling salary package, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to ensure your health and well-being.
  • A robust retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
