• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying specific psychological needs and challenges related to aging.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional hurdles, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, social workers, and nursing staff, to create and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Educate families and caregivers on mental health strategies to enhance the emotional well-being and quality of life for elder individuals.
• Facilitate grief and loss counseling for clients and their families, addressing end-of-life issues with sensitivity and care.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
