Are you a highly skilled RN looking for the autonomy of independent practice and the flexibility of a part-time schedule? We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and personalized care, providing life-enhancing infusion therapies to patients in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
If you are a self-motivated clinician with elite IV skills and a passion for one-on-one patient advocacy, we invite you to bring your expertise to a role that truly values your clinical judgment.
Key Responsibilities
As a primary point of care, you will manage the end-to-end infusion experience, ensuring safety and clinical integrity at every step:

  • Patient-Centered Care: Administer specialty medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide immediate intervention or EMS activation if required.
  • Education & Empowerment: Guide patients and caregivers through their therapy journey, teaching medication storage, side-effect management, and home safety protocols.
  • Seamless Coordination: Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical leadership to confirm orders and supplies, while maintaining timely, accurate documentation via mobile platforms.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active RN license in DC, MD, and VA (Compact/Multi-state license highly preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience with a heavy focus on IV therapy and infusion administration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of peripheral IV starts and central line maintenance is essential.
  • Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
  • Compliance: Must meet independent contractor requirements, including background checks, drug screening, immunization/TB verification, and professional insurance coverage.

This is a remote position.
