• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities and intervention strategies to promote healing and personal growth.
• Monitor client progress by regularly assessing treatment plans, adjusting interventions as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Conduct follow-ups with psychiatric and medical staff for clients requiring hospitalization to ensure continuity of care and effective recovery strategies.
• Identify barriers to recovery, intervening with proactive strategies to address behaviors that may hinder progress.
• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage and assist their loved ones through mental health challenges.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise will help individuals navigate their unique challenges, fostering resilience and emotional intelligence.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential to practice in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundation of knowledge regarding psychotherapy techniques, psychological assessments, and pharmacological interventions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and engage with clients thoughtfully.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

• Proven work experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar therapeutic role, ideally within a remote or telehealth setting.
• In-depth understanding of the effects of medications and the ability to collaborate with medical professionals on medication management strategies.
• Relevant training and/or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
